Storage can be tricky especially for larger items like tables and chairs. It’s not an issue with shades and stains to suit all styles and moods. A couple of coats and your furniture is not only transformed, it’s toughened against the worst of the weather.

Before you start

• Clean away dirt, droppings or moss
• If you’ve got a power washer, give it a blast
• Make sure furniture is dry
• A light rub with sandpaper creates a key for the colour
• Do a final dust
